the Preoperative Cataract Patient,"
presented by Francis Mah, MD,
Cynthia Matossian, MD, Richard
Ten Hulzen, MD, and Bennie
Jeng, MD, and "Middle Manage-
ment, Now What?" presented by
Christine McDonald, COA, COE.
Ms. McDonald will discuss issues,
duties, and responsibilities of lead
technicians and explain how to
move from working with your
peers to managing your peers.
She will review information and
ideas to assist with the delega-
tion of duties and supervisory
skills. Faculty of an ophthalmolo-
gist-technician team will present
courses from their perspectives
and best practices for working as
a team in the clinic and OR.
New today is the IJCAHPO
Certified Ophthalmic Technician
(COT) Certification Exam Prep
Course, which will be held from
12:00–4:30 p.m. A separate
registration fee applies; all at-
tendees will receive a free copy of
the IJCAHPO COT Study Guide.
