This year, the lecture will be a panel of past ASCRS glaucoma leadership. Dr. Herndon said this panel—Reay Brown, MD, Thomas Samuelson, MD, Richard Lewis, MD, and Dr. Rhee—will discuss their collec- tive observations of innovations in ophthalmology in general and glaucoma in particular that have made the largest impacts on their careers. Glaucoma Day begins with the joint ASCRS/AGS symposium, which will feature several pre- sentations on handling a patient with glaucoma and a visually significant cataract. Presentations will cover presbyopia-correcting IOL options for these patients, cataract/MIGS combination pro- cedures, complications like loose zonules, and more. In the next section of the morning, "Glaukomtecken" will take a look at technology that's available now in glaucoma care and pearls for using the technolo- gy physicians already have, along with presentations on what's coming on this front. Later in the morning, experts will cover medication—new types and delivery methods—and lasers, specifically pros and cons of SLT as a first-line therapy. Afternoon educational of- ferings put the spotlight on surgical glaucoma, the various MIGS options, when to consid- er conventional surgery, and more.
