Administered by the National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives (NBCOE), the COE program recognizes those who have achieved the experience, knowledge, and skills identified by the NBCOE as essential to practice management. Dixon Davis, MBA, MHSA, re- ceived the 2022 award for his article "Rising Above – Strategic Leadership During Crisis." The article was pub- lished in the January/February 2021 issue of Administrative Eyecare. The goal of the Administrative Eyecare Editor's Choice Award is to recognize and thank contribut- ing authors and to encourage new writing contributions for future issues. The award winner is selected by the members of the Admin- istrative Eyecare Editorial Board through a scoring system using several evaluation criteria. Both practitioners and consultants who are ASOA members are eligible to receive the award. Consistently ranked as one of ASOA's top membership benefits, Administrative Eyecare focuses on issues relevant to ophthalmic admin- istrators and practice management staff and is published six times a year. Administrative Eyecare Editors' Choice Award T his year's ASOA Administrator Beginners Circle (ABC) Net- working Lunch will take place today from 12:00–1:30 p.m. in Room 204C on Level 2. The program will provide newer administrators access to a panel of experts covering topics like "What New Administrators Need to Know," "Avoiding Common Traps & Pitfalls," and "Facilitating the Administrator-Physician Relationship." The panel discussion will be followed by roundtable discussions facilitated by experienced administrators. Attendees are invited to bring questions, meet colleagues, and share knowledge. This is a good opportu- nity for administrators to build their ophthalmic network. Attendance is sug- gested for ASOA attendees with 4 or fewer years of experience in ophthal- mic practice management. Advanced registration is required, and space is limited.
