A joint registration category is available for those inter- ested in attending both the ASOA and Technicians & Nurses Programs. Crossover between the ASOA and Technicians & Nurses Programs will be permitted to those registered in the joint registration category only. Those registered solely for either the ASOA or Technicians & Nurses Program will not be allowed to cross over. All registrants in either category are welcome to attend the ASCRS Program. Retina speakers William Mieler, MD, and Michael Stewart, MD, will present on difficult retina cases and posterior segment complications of anterior segment surgery, and the ophthalmic effects of chronic disease and medication injections and oph- thalmic disease, respectively. Premium IOLs will be covered by Vasudha Panday, MD. Dr. Mah will discuss "Reducing Drugs Waste in Surgery." Drs. Kim and Townley will discuss endoscopic cyclophotocoag- ulation, and phakic intraocular lens T he International Joint Com- mission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) will kick off the Technicians & Nurses Program with an impressive lineup of speakers on practice management, clinical skills, and OSD testing. This afternoon, "Essential Practices for Providing Outstanding Patient Care" will be presented by Christine McDonald, COE, COA, and "Indication for OSD Testing" will be presented by Francis Mah, MD. Two tracks will be presented on Saturday and Sunday. Track 1 will feature clinical courses, and Track 2 will feature courses on surgical/am- bulatory surgical center (ASC).
