"Their lives are forever changed as well, as they are an integral part of changing the way that patient sees the world," she said. "It reminds my entire team that we're a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. It's an honor to be a part of," she said. Because of her involvement with Operation Sight, Ms. Boling said it was a "no-brainer" to get involved at Party for a Purpose last year. "I loved being the designated 'hype woman' of the ASOA team," she said, adding for a Purpose last year on the ASOA team and will attend again this year. She described the event as both a welcome party and a way to create awareness for the ASCRS Founda- tion's Operation Sight program. "At Party for a Purpose, you'll see physician teams and executive/ad- ministrator teams going head to head in an effort to raise awareness and much-needed funds for sight-saving cataract surgery," she said. Ms. Boling's practice has been an Operation Sight center for years, and she has witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact the program has. Being a part of the process not only positively impacts the Operation Sight patients who are receiving the T he ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose is back again this year. Attendees can enjoy a night of fun and philanthropy, with donations benefiting the ASCRS Foundation. The event will take place tonight from 8:00 p.m.–midnight at NOVA SD. NOVA SD is a multi-level night club that features a rooftop lounge to take in the San Diego weather. ASCRS, ASOA, and industry attendees, as well as their guests, are welcome. The event will feature teams of "Celebrity Spin Masters" who will entertain and compete for donations to the ASCRS Foundation.
