Administrator Beginners Circle (ABC) Networking Lunch The Call Center: Revenue Lifeline of Your Practice Sunday, 12:00–1:30 p.m. Room 107ABC This program will provide newer administrators access to a panel dis- cussion centered around the topic of "The Call Center: Revenue Lifeline of E yeWorld spoke with ASOA Executive Director Megan Odell, and ASOA Meeting Pro- gram Manager Tiffany Perlberg about what's new and exciting at this year's ASOA Annual Meeting. The program will kick off today with two general sessions. The first is titled "MACRA, MIPS, and YOU: The Future of Medicare Physician Reim- bursement." The second will feature hot topics related to all aspects of practice management. A panel in this session will answer questions on topics that the audience is most interested in hearing about. Tomorrow, ASOA will hold its annual Saturday General Session, with best-selling author and two-time TEDx speaker Anne Grady. Other features of the ASOA program include optional lunch programs, roundtables, and unique opportunities to network with ex- hibitors. There are also courses on a variety of topics including busi- ness operations, coding and billing, human resources, leadership and strategic management, marketing and business development, and risk management and compliance. Something new this year is the Vendor Showcase. Twelve exhibi- tors, who are also exhibiting in the ASOA Networking and Engagement Lounge, will participate. "Each exhib- itor will get 15 minutes to showcase their product or service," Ms. Odell said. "The twist is they have to pres- ent with an ASOA administrator who partners with them." ASOA is also introducing Camp- fire Sessions at the meeting. These sessions are a combination of the organization's educational courses and its popular roundtables.
