Party for
a Purpose
The ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose took
place on Friday evening, encouraging
attendees to "Party like it's 1974." Many
turned out in their 70s-inspired apparel
to support the ASCRS Foundation. Teams
competed for donations. "We just made our
Foundation goal," said Abigail Markward,
Executive Director of the ASCRS Foundation,
on Saturday afternoon. "Donations are more
than $65,000, and with the $35,000 match
from Alcon, we've met our $100,000 goal."
