Saturday on the ASCRS Main Stage featured some exciting sessions.
In the first session, guest speaker Annie Duke took the stage for a
conversation with moderator Nicole Fram, MD. Following was the
"X-Factor: Women Leading by Example," featuring Malvina Eydelman,
MD, of the FDA, and ASCRS past female presidents including Elizabeth
Yeu, MD, Bonnie Henderson, MD, Priscilla Arnold, MD, and Marguerite
McDonald, MD. The session culminated with the Binkhorst Lecture
from Mitchell Weikert, MD. Later in the day was "X-Rounds: Refractive
Cataract Surgery to the Max," which featured the latest and
greatest in refractive cataract surgery.
