T
he Resource Centers are
located in booth 1426 of
the Moscone Center South
Exhibit Hall and in the
Yerba Buena Grand Assem-
bly of the Marriott Marquis. At the
Resource Centers you can review
and purchase ASCRS•ASOA book-
store items and publications and
learn about ASCRS•ASOA member-
ship and member services.
See samples of publications
including the Journal of Cataract &
Refractive Surgery, Administrative Eye-
Care, EyeWorld, and Ophthalmology
Business. Browse the checklist show-
ing what publications are available
and what practice management
needs they address.
Practice management consult-
ant John Pinto will do a book sign-
ing at the Marriott Marquis Resource
Center today from 2:15 to 4 p.m.,
Sunday from 2:15 to 3 p.m. at booth
1426 of the Moscone Center, and
Monday from 9 to 9:45 a.m., also at
booth 1426 of the Moscone Center.
Mr. Pinto is the author of the
best-selling book Little Green Book of
Ophthalmology as well as Ophthalmic
Leadership, The Efficient Ophthalmolo-
gist, Turn Around, Cash Flow, and
Legal Issues in Ophthalmology, all of
which are available for purchase in
the Resource Centers.
You can also visit the Resource
Centers to ask questions of staff
members or to learn more about the
Cornea Society, CLAO, EyeWorld,
eyePAC, the ASCRS MediaCenter,
government relations, or the ASCRS
Foundation.
The Moscone Resource Center
will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The
Marriott Resource Center will be
open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Satur-
day, Sunday, and Monday and 7:30
a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday. EW
