at Sunday session

H
ealthcare is abundant with legislative and regulatory
changes, but the Sunday morning session "2013 Update on
Medicare, Congress, Coding, and Compliance" can help
keep you and your staff informed of the latest legislative
and regulatory news.
Led by ASCRS director of government relations Nancey McCann,
the session will provide the latest news and updates on legislative and
regulatory issues impacting your practice. The session will conclude
with a discussion.
This session takes place from 7 to 8:30 a.m. in room 301 of the
Moscone Center.

Gear up for a good cause at Sunday's Run for Sight
C
atch an early-morning run for
a good cause at Sunday's Run
for Sight.
The 2013 Run for Sight 5K run
and 1-mile walk takes place from 7
to 9 a.m. through a scenic section of
San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
The run is hosted by the ASCRS
Foundation and TearLab (San
Diego).
In 2012, the ASCRS Foundation
treated more than 13,000 patients at
its Robert Sinskey Eye Institute in
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All proceeds
from the race go to benefit the
Foundation's ongoing humanitarian
work.
Bus transportation from the
major hotels to the course and back
will be provided at 6:30 a.m. There
will be a light breakfast onsite at the
race.
The race will award medals for
the male and female winners in each
age category, along with a T-shirt,
water bottle, and timing chip for all
runners.
