a fundraiser for Majority Leader
McCarthy and the eyePAC
Reception at Petco Park.
This year, ASCRS•ASOA is
pleased to welcome Majority Leader
McCarthy as the speaker for the
ASCRS•ASOA Government Relations
General Session during the ASCRS•
ASOA Symposium & Congress in
San Diego. The session will take
place today from 5:00–6:00 p.m. in
the San Diego Convention Center.
Majority Leader McCarthy, who sets
the agenda in the House, will share
his goals for healthcare policy in
the coming year and how they will
impact ophthalmology. This event
is open to all attendees of the 2015
ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Con-
gress; a conference badge is required
for entrance into the session.
Conference attendees also have
the opportunity to attend a special
reception honoring Majority Leader
McCarthy after the general session
from 6:00–7:00 p.m. Suggested

The 2015 eyePAC Reception will be held at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Attendees will enjoy refreshments in the Padres Hall of Fame and have the opportunity to take tours of
the entire ballpark—including the field, dugout, and clubhouse.

After the ASCRS•ASOA Gov-
ernment Relations General Session,
domestic ASCRS members who
contribute to eyePAC and their
guests can attend the 2015 eye-
PAC Reception at Petco Park from
7:00–9:00 p.m. The event will be
a private, all-access event at Petco
Park, home of the San Diego Padres.
Attendees will enjoy refreshments
in the Padres Hall of Fame and have
the opportunity to take tours of the
entire ballpark—including the field,
dugout, and clubhouse. Enjoy a fun,
relaxing evening all while support-
ing eyePAC and ASCRS' political
activities. Petco Park is within easy
walking distance of the San Diego
Convention Center.
