The final 15 minutes of the sym- posium will include a presentation by McKinley Advisors discussing the results from the ASOA 2015 EHR Satisfaction Survey. Speakers will include Brett Chambers, director of strategic initiatives, MedNetwoRx; Patricia M. Morris, MBA, COE, practice man- agement consultant and meaningful use advisor; Scott W. Peterson, The Eye Center of Central PA; E. Ann Rose, president of Rose & Associates Healthcare Consultants; and Caroline Bronaugh, consultant at McKinley Advisors. Candace S. Simerson, COE, will moderate the session. The symposium will be held today from 3:00–4:30 p.m. in room 6D of the San Diego Convention Center. The symposium is sponsored by the ASCRS Health Information Technology (HIT) Committee. EW T here's a lot of news to cover in health information tech- nology (HIT) these days, and that's why today's 2015 HIT symposium is a can't- miss session. "HIT Symposium: Are You Prepared for What's Coming?" will focus on a host of topics related to the future of the current Medicare/ Medicaid quality reporting programs and the implementation of ICD-10. Now that the incentive payments for quality programs have been eliminated and practices are facing a reduction of almost 10% for not successfully participating, it is more important than ever that both prac- titioners and administrators have a good understanding of these initia- tives. In addition, all practices must ensure they are able to successfully transition to ICD-10 on October 1, 2015. The symposium discussion will be set up to provide an overview of a different topic every 15 minutes.
