Don't miss "Corneal Family Feud," sponsored by the ASCRS Cornea Clinical Committee. With Team Cogan's Heroes and Team Kerocytes, this lively session will pose ques- tions on common and advanced corneal cases for each family/team to discuss and debate. The teams will present their recommendations to what the audience and "survey says." It will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the lobby level, West Hall A. A Spanish session called "Man- agement of Complicated Cases in Cataract and Refractive Surgery" will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the lobby level, Petree Hall CD. The symposium is sponsored by the Latin American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Pressing issues for today's health care environment will be the focus of "Survive or Thrive in the Modern Healthcare Environment: Clinical Changes to Practice." From health- care under President Trump's admin- istration to adding a Dry Eye Center of Excellence to integrated eyecare, attendees will learn many practice pearls. The session takes place from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the lobby level, Concourse Hall, room 150–151. "IOL Power Calculation: New Approaches for Better Refractive Outcomes," to be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in lobby level, Concourse Hall, room 152–153, will focus on optics, the post-refractive eye, ray tracing, and thinking outside the box. EW Presbyopic choices will be the focus of "The Surgical Correction of Presbyopia: Optimizing the Avail- able Options" this afternoon. The symposium, sponsored by both the ASCRS Cataract Clinical Committee and the ASCRS Refractive Clinical Committee, will review monovision, inlays, and pseudophakic options. The session will be held from 1:00 to S ymposia at the ASCRS meeting today will help attendees with many of their clinical challenges. All sessions are in the Con- vention Center. "Challenging Video Cases for the Young Surgeon" will feature difficult and challenging surgical video cases pertaining to cataract/ intraocular lens/iris and refractive surgery and highlight basic concepts and fundamentals for the beginning surgeon. The committee will discuss how they would handle each case, including their personal surgical approach, while providing tips and pearls particularly relevant for young surgeons. Sponsored by the ASCRS Young Eye Surgeons Clinical Committee, the symposium will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in lobby level, Petree Hall C\D. "Retinal Issues That Keep the Cataract Surgeon Up at Night" will cover age-related macular degenera- tion, diabetic macular edema, OCT, vitreoretinal macular traction, and IOLs to use in patients with diabetes, among other topics. Sponsored by the Retina Clinical Committee, the symposium takes place from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. today in lobby level, Concourse Hall, room 150–151. S urgeons are always looking for ways to improve their outcomes. At this year's "Optimizing Outcomes: What Am I Doing Differ- ently," attendees can gain a global perspective on boosting their surgi- cal results.
