ASOA Celebration, to be
held at Exchange L.A.
The ASOA Celebration
is an annual tradition at the
ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Con-
gress. The celebration takes place
tonight from 8:00 p.m. to midnight
at Exchange L.A., located at 618 S.
Spring Street. Enjoy a night of mu-
sic, dancing, light refreshments, and
fun with your colleagues.

tive Eyecare (AE) 2017 Edi-
tor's Choice Award during the ASOA
Opening General Session yesterday.
This annual award recognizes
the best member-authored article
published in ASOA's award-winning
Administrative Eyecare magazine

during the preceding calendar year.
The goal of the award is to recognize
and thank contributing authors and
to encourage new writing contribu-
tions for future AE issues. The award
winner is selected by the members
of the AE Editorial Board through a
scoring system using several evalua-
tion criteria.
Both practitioners and consul-
tants who are ASOA members are
eligible to receive the award.
Mr. Casebolt's article, "BBQ—
The Proper Use for Sacred Cows,"
appeared in the March/April 2016
issue of Administrative Eyecare.
This is the fifth year that the
AE Editor's Choice Award has been
given out.
Administrative Eyecare magazine
focuses on issues relevant to oph-
thalmic administrators. It publishes
in print six times a year. It is mailed
to members of ASOA and contains
timely practice management infor-
mation.
