he use of microinvasive
glaucoma surgery (MIGS)
has doubled among ASCRS
members over the past 3
years, according to AS-
CRS Clinical Survey results, said
Iqbal "Ike" Ahmed, MD, Toronto.
With about 20% of cataract surgery
candidates for MIGS, it makes sense
for cataract surgeons and compre-
hensive ophthalmologists to further
explore MIGS options.
During Friday evening's "De-
livering Reliable Outcomes with
Subconjunctival MIGS," Dr. Ahmed
and fellow presenters shared some
MIGS pearls.
