"ASCRS Military Refractive Surgery Symposium 2017" will cover several topics including screening standards for military refractive surgery patients, optimizing the ocular surface for refractive surgery, refractive surgery in strabismus patients, and wavefront-guided versus wavefront-optimized femto- second LASIK to correct myopia. The symposium will also include Best Research Papers from the Military Refractive Surgery Safety and Stan- dards Symposium. The ASCRS Cataract Clinical Committee is sponsoring "Com- plicated and Challenging Cases in Cataract Surgery Video Symposium," to be held from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. in the lobby level, Concourse Hall, room 150–151. With corneal crosslinking now approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the symposium "Practical Pearls for Starting a Cor- neal Collagen Crosslinking Practice" can offer some practice-expanding guidance.
