Plate erosion was rare. Overall, Dr. Tanaka said supra- Tenon's placement could be consid- ered for patients with high risk of failure or if the conjunctiva is thin. Other papers of the session cov- ered topics such as trephine-assisted trabeculectomy, early experience and results using a dual-blade device for goniotomy, visual outcomes and rates of glaucoma in aphakic and pseudophakic patients with congeni- tal cataract, the effect of lens surgery on IOP control in pediatric glauco- ma patients, and more.
