opened in 1910 and is part of the
Smithsonian Institution. It houses
exhibits focusing on the ocean,
dinosaurs, and more, and it is also
home to the famous Hope Diamond.

offers free admission and the oppor-
tunity to view a variety of animals,
including giant pandas, elephants,
lions, tigers, and orangutans.
Newseum

Sunday) to 5:00 p.m., the Newseum
explores the freedoms of the First
Amendment and features many
interactive exhibits showcasing the
evolution of communication and
media. The museum uses news-
papers, photos, video, and other
media to give visitors an immersive
experience. Admission is $24.95 for

International Spy Museum

Opened in 2002, the International
Spy Museum looks at the history
of espionage. Daily hours are 10:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and admission is
$21.95 for adults.
National Air and Space Museum

the National Air and Space Museum

p.m. and is home to the world's larg-
est and most significant collection of
aviation and space artifacts, accord-

The National Archives houses some
of the most famous documents
in American history. The rotunda
and exhibit hall area are open from
10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days
a week. Visitors can view documents
such as the Declaration of Indepen-
dence, Constitution of the United
States, and Bill of Rights.

American History and Culture has
been a popular destination since
it opened in 2016. It's open daily

the only national museum devoted
exclusively to the documentation of
African American life, history, and
culture, according to its website.
