Kieval, MD, Lexington, Mass., on "Why I chose private practice"; Annette C. Sims, MD, Eugene, Ore., on "How to evaluate employment opportunities"; Sherman W. Reeves, MD, Minneapolis, on "Referral marketing and practice building"; Sonia H. Yoo, MD, Miami, on "How to choose a fellowship"; and I. Howard Fine, MD, Eugene, Ore., on "Milestones in a medical career." If young ophthalmologists "do it right," said Dr. Howard, they can look forward to a successful, happy life, "because there's nothing that comes close to preventing and curing blindness." The full scientific program of ASCRS includes sessions recommended to residents and fellows called the ASCRS Young Physicians & Residents Track, which can be consulted online or through the meeting's mobile app. The program concluded with lunch roundtables with faculty and ASCRS•ASOA and Cornea Society Committee members. In addition, awards were given to the best papers and posters by residents and fellows.
