Join us at the ASOA Celebration at the House of Blues Boston tonight. Meet and mingle with your coworkers and new friends while you enjoy the atmosphere of the famous House of Blues. There will be a band and a DJ, three photo booths, and plenty of food and fun. The House of Blues is located at 15 Lansdowne Street. The House of Blues grew out of founder Isaac Tigrett's love for the unique American art form known as the "the blues," according to the club's website. Mr. Tigrett wanted to introduce the world to the music of the rural south, including the blues, rhythm and blues, gospel, jazz, and rock & roll. The House of Blues aims to celebrate and educate about Southern culture and African American artistic contributions to music and art. The ASOA Celebration is a festive annual tradition at the ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress. It will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight. Bring your meeting badge for admittance. A symposium today jointly sponsored by ASOA and ASCRS will help them with that decision. "The Integrated Eyecare Model: Should I or Shouldn't I?" will feature a panel comprised of physi- cians, administrators, and an OD, with subject matter geared to all audi- ences. Presentations will focus on what factors need to be examined in deciding if and when a practice should consider adding ODs. Sondra Hoffman, COE, CPC, CMPE, will moderate the symposium.
